Singer Songwriter Jenny Franck is up for “Best New Artist” For the Song “Black Crows” and has been officially accepted for a Nomination in round one of the 57th annual Grammy Awards.
The song “Black Crows” is also featured in the movie and on the Soundrack to Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun, a Vampire Western Adventure Film, Written and Directed by Damien Dante and Produced by Damien Dante and Jeffrey A. Swanson. The movie has been completed and is currently in the film festival circuit. The movie is slated to be released on Cable TV, Blu-Ray, DVD and the Top VOD Platforms in early 2015 via SGL Entertainment and their partners MVD Visual and Indie Rights Movies.

From mind to melody comes the second release from the “Prelude to Shadow” EP with the six minute epic, “Roses of Dusk, At Dawn Turned Dust” written by Drake Mefestta and additionally orchestrated along with Spencer Creaghan, featuring the percussion works of Rick Hernandez (Reign Inferno). The concept behind this piece is nothing short of a rhyme for revenge, entailing emotions bathed in blood and war. The sounds cascade, enveloping the song in an atmosphere of strife and conflict that reflect the over-arching story behind “The prelude to Shadow”.

The “Classic Rock” Tribute Band AXIS May Just Have the Coolest Following in Northern California, and it’s no wonder considering this band could be the best Classic Rock cover band in the Bay Area. This group of talented musicians have managed to put together the Ultimate Tribute to Classic Rock by performing classic songs from Journey, Boston, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and More! One of the Highlights from their show is an Unbelievable medley of Led Zeppelin songs, including Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker and Dazed and Confuzed. Lead vocalist Paul Parry who actually hails from england, can pull off the lead vocals to the tee, and the whole band have their riffs nailed down. No doubt this may be why the ladies flock in to spend the night with AXIS.

Jeffrey Marshall is a unique bass player, harpist and lead singer. You see Jeffrey has no arms!!! and yet he has managed to write music, sing and play the bass guitar. Because he has no arms, Jeffrey has learned to play the bass guitar with his feet. Jeffrey has performed all around the world giving hope to so many people, and now Jeffrey Marshall brings his original style of music to Concord California.
The Breedloves are Jay Kirkland on lead guitar & Barbara Gorin on 12 string & vocals. Jay has been playing guitar since he was a child, and is an avid song writer, and able to play all styles. of music, from jazz to blues, to metal to fusion. Barbara has been strumming the guitar since she was young as well and has a particular love for playing the 12 string. Together, they have a musical chemistry you will love. Both Jay and Barbara are involved with a wonderful children’s music charity, Guitars Not Guns, particularly the Contra Costa County, California Chapter. Jay is an instructor and sees the joy he can bring to kids through the gift of music. He learned early on how music saved him from destructive behaviors, and believes strongly in what Guitars not Guns stands for.
