Swanson, partners in the Jezebeth movie franchise, will begin filming their Cable TV series Pilot episode in and around Richmond, Illinois in June 2011. The Pilot is based on the vampire film Jezebeth, to be released internationally in 2011. Shooting dates for the Pilot episode require that you be available from early morning until very late at night. SAG and Non-SAG actors. Emmy Award Winning Gregg Potter Signs to SGL Entertainment
SGL Entertainment is pleased to announce that we have signed a deal with the Emmy Award Winning Gregg Potter. Best known for his flamboyant drum Playing, Gregg Potter has rocked the world with bands such as Siren, Teenage Radiation, Black Box, Off Broadway and Supermercado. Gregg Potter also has a role in the up and coming horror film “Jezebeth” Directed by Damien Dante. The Emmy Award Winning Gregg Potter has also just been nominated for yet a second Emmy. Blackbox which is Damon Ranger-vocals/guitars and Gregg Potter-drums, have been nominated for a Midwest Regional Emmy Award from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The nomination is for ” Warped Tour with Blackbox ” which is a show and tell of the 2009 Warped Tour, with Warped Tour artists Blackbox, also nominated is Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and Sarah Baer. Slam Bang Performed Live At The Thirsty Whale Reunion
Dark Star Records Recording Artist Slam Bang ripped it up at this years Thirsty Whale Reunion Party. The event was held on October 22nd and 23rd 2010. The band performed favorites like “Somebody New” as well as the theme song to the movie Jezebeth “She’s Calling Out Your Name” with special guest “Bob Slawek” on vocals. The reunion bash received a ton of press and caught the attention of former Chicago Sun Times Columnist Jim DeRogatis. Gregg Potter Wins An Emmy
Gregg Potter, drummer for Dark Star Records recording artist Supermercado, wins 2008-2009 Chicago/Midwest Emmy award for “Outstanding Achievement for Individual Excellence on Camera Programming Performer” also featuring Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) and Damon Ranger (Blackbox). Emmy’s were awarded on November 7, 2009 at the Park West, Chicago. Gregg had to leave the Emmy’s early to perform with Supermercado, who opened for international recording artist, Steelheart, and then had to return to the Emmy’s to collect his award. Gregg Potter can also be seen in the full-length horror film, Jezebeth, written, directed and produced by Damien Dante of Satania 6 Films and distributed by DSR Music and Film Distribution in association with Sony Entertainment. Jezebeth is slated for worldwide release in Spring 2010.
