Emmy Award Winning Gregg Potter Signs to SGL Entertainment

SGL Entertainment is pleased to announce that we have signed a deal with the Emmy Award Winning Gregg Potter. Best known for his flamboyant drum Playing, Gregg Potter has rocked the world with bands such as Siren, Teenage Radiation, Black Box, Off Broadway and Supermercado. Gregg Potter also has a role in the up and coming horror film “Jezebeth” Directed by Damien Dante. The Emmy Award Winning Gregg Potter has also just been nominated for yet a second Emmy. Here is the press release issued by the band Black Box: 2009 Emmy Award Winning Rock Band Blackbox Have Been Nominated For Another Emmy. Blackbox which is Damon Ranger-vocals/guitars and Gregg Potter-drums, have been nominated for a Midwest Regional Emmy Award from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The nomination is for ” Warped Tour with Blackbox ” which is a show and tell of the 2009 Warped Tour, with Warped Tour artists Blackbox, also nominated is Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and Sarah Baer. In 2009 Blackbox won an Emmy for their performance on CBS with “Grammy Career Day” in which Rick Nielsen joined Blackbox on guitar and they performed the Cheap Trick classics ” Surrender ” and ” He’s A Whore.” This marks another amazing step in the road for Blackbox. Their video for the new single “Only One” is currently featured on the Emmis Broadcasting TV channel and features cameos with Grammy Award Winner Malik Yusef, and Saliva. Q101 Radio, Chicago’s premier new alt/rock radio station has named Blackbox “the next band to break.”With an impressive tour resume and great work ethic, Blackbox is determined to bring it’s style of rock n’ roll to the masses. Blackbox is honored to be nominated by their peers for a second Emmy Award, it’s just an amazing feeling, especially to share this with Kevin and Sarah. The Awards ceremony takes place Nov 6th, 2010 at the Park West in Chicago, IL.
