“Love” it’s a Shot in the Dark, Music Video World Premiere

This is the first “single” ever released by Singer and Guitarist Jeff Swan. The song is about the hard Life of a street girl and was written and recorded in the 1980’s. Jeff Swan layed down both the guitar and the bass tracks as well as the Vocals, while Producer Brian Eatin played the drums. The song was recently released on Dark Star Records and Sony Music Entertainment, and can be Purchased from iTunes:

New Trailer Released For The Epic Zombie Film “World War Z” Starring Brad Pitt

The new trailer for World War Z has just been released. World War Z is an upcoming post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Marc Forster and written by Matthew Michael Carnahan. It is based on the novel of the same name by Max Brooks. Brad Pitt stars as Gerry Lane, a worker at the United Nations, as he searches the globe for information that can stop the zombie outbreak that is bringing down nations. Plan B Entertainment secured the film rights in 2007 and Forster was approached to direct. In 2009, Carnahan was hired to rewrite the script to the film. Filming began in July 2011 in Malta on an estimated $125 million budget. The movie hit theaters June 21st 2013.

Hailing from Rockford Illinois the home of Cheap Trick, these bad boys of Rock tore it up in the late 80’s and early 90’s with songs like This Is Your Brain On Rock-N-Roll and the amped up version of Elvis Presley’s Suspicious Minds. The band released their self titled full length album in 1992 that included the love ballad “Nicole” and ten other fan favorites. The album sold over 15,000 copies. Ript is now available worldwide as a special digital release through SONY MUSIC via Dark Star Records. Headliners Announced For Indianapolis Metal Fest 2013

Festival promoters for Indianapolis Metal Fest have released the lineup for this year’s event, slated to take place on September 20th and 21st. True to their promise to put on a European-style underground metal festival that rejects the American “Corporate Festival” trend that has dominated — and according to festival founder Rob Mason — commercialized, castrated, and attempted to make heavy metal mainstream, the lineup is chock full of some of the most brutal, underground artists in metal. Some of these bands include DECREPIT BIRTH, INCANTATION, ACHERON, FUNERUS, the recently reunited BYZANTINE, TEMPLE OF BRUTALITY — a band featuring Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and ex-WASP drummer Stet Howland, guitar virtuoso ANGEL VIVALDI, THE CONVALESCENCE, SADGIQACEA, metal legends VICIOUS RUMORS and LEATHERWOLF, progressive metallers SEVEN WITCHES, SINGLE BULLET THEORY, MOBILE DEATHCAMP featuring ex-GWAR member Beefcake The Mighty, and AS SHADOWS COLLAPSE! Also, true to their belief that Metal is in desperate need of new heros, IMF promoters have included a number of lesser known metal bands hand-picked from around the United States, including bands like MAGGOT TWAT, SYSTEMS, EVOKED, FALL OF THE ALBATROSS, BURNING THE DAY, A FALL TO BREAK, ELCTRIKCHAIR, BETRAYED WITH A KISS, DELIVER US FROM EVIL, OF CREATIONS, EYES ON FIRE.

The Festival also features Dark Star Records Artists CONQUEST, TWO TON ANVIL, LOW TWELVE and the all girl teenage hard rock metal band BLOODY MARY. Venue and ticket information will be released at the end of April.
