Indianapolis Metal Fest III Gets Rave Reviews From Fans

It’s been many years since the last Indianapolis Metal Fest, but well worth the wait. The third rendition of the underground metal festival was a huge success. With the help of Live Nation and their many Sponsors including Dark Star Records, the Festival Promoter Rob Mason was able to get the word out to metal fans worldwide. The Festival included heavy hitters Chimaira, Incantation, Vicious Rumors, The Browning, Acheron, Byzantine Affiance, Vindicator, Maggot Twat, Single Bullet Theory, Seven Witches along with Dark Star Records top performing acts Low Twelve, Bloody Mary, Conquest and Two Ton Anvil. Also included was a special performance by Rob Mason’s own band Betrayed With A Kiss. Jeffrey A. Swanson President of Dark Star Records would like to congratulate Rob and Sarah Mason on the success of Indianapolis Metal Fest III, and I would also like to thank Lloyd Freeze VP of Dark Star Records, Baby D Frost and all the kick ass bands who performed at this years festival. The Projectionists Sign With Dark Star Records

Dark Star Records is pleased to announce that they have just signed a deal with the progressive experimental band “The Projectionists”. This Young Aurora based band have already caused quite a stir with their trippy psychedelic music, somewhat reminiscent of “The Doors” and “Pink Floyd” but with their own true original dark alternative sound. Dark Star Records will be releasing the EP “Dysphoric Illuminations” in the spring of 2013. The New EP is Produced by “Eric Wagner” and will be available worldwide via Dark Star Records and Sony Music.

“THE REAL VAMPIRE FILES” FEATURING “DRAKE MEFESTTA” AIRS ON HISTORY TELEVISION

SGL Entertainment is pleased to announce that the long awaited television documentary called “The Real Vampire Files” will be airing on History Television on September 7th, 2010 @ 8pm. The documentary produced by MDF Productions is expected to be somewhat controversial and includes Drake Mefestta a real life vampire who will be carrying out a live feeding on camera. The television show also includes: Michelle Belanger, Ticia Martyr and the artwork of Ivan Otis.Here is a description from the project’s Facebook page: Dracula, Nosferatu and now Edward are all part of cinema history and the Vampire legend, but is there any truth behind the spine-chilling fiction? At first bite, the vampire seems to be just the product of our heated imagination, a dark fairy tale. But some folklore’s do hold truths, explain some fears, and satisfy some desires. Indeed, this terrifying monster’s beginnings is a lifetime away from the 21st century vampire – those real people living amongst us who drink human blood and purposely embrace the darkness. The Real Vampire Files explores the evolution of the age-old myth that has truly become a blood-curdling reality.

DRAKE MEFESTTA Starring In The History Channel Documentary Real Vampires

Drake Mefestta has begun shooting a documentary in Canada for The History Channel called “Real Vampires” which will take viewers into the life of real vampirism. This special glance into the world of a real vampire assures to be a raw, straightforward and real documentation of this unique lifestyle. Drake will be presenting answers in an interview dispelling common myths as well as living with vampirism in society today. Drake will also be giving an exceptionally rare look into the method of carrying out a live feeding on camera so that viewers can see the process from beginning to end and the effects of feeding thereafter. Drake Mefestta is represented by SGL Entertainment.
