Hailing from Rockford Illinois the home of Cheap Trick, these bad boys of Rock tore it up in the late 80’s and early 90’s with songs like This Is Your Brain On Rock-N-Roll and the amped up version of Elvis Presley’s Suspicious Minds. The band released their self titled full length album in 1992 that included the love ballad “Nicole” and ten other fan favorites. The album sold over 15,000 copies. Headliners Announced For Indianapolis Metal Fest 2013

Festival promoters for Indianapolis Metal Fest have released the lineup for this year’s event, slated to take place on September 20th and 21st. True to their promise to put on a European-style underground metal festival that rejects the American “Corporate Festival” trend that has dominated — and according to festival founder Rob Mason — commercialized, castrated, and attempted to make heavy metal mainstream, the lineup is chock full of some of the most brutal, underground artists in metal. Some of these bands include DECREPIT BIRTH, INCANTATION, ACHERON, FUNERUS, the recently reunited BYZANTINE, TEMPLE OF BRUTALITY — a band featuring Megadeth bassist David Ellefson and ex-WASP drummer Stet Howland, guitar virtuoso ANGEL VIVALDI, THE CONVALESCENCE, SADGIQACEA, metal legends VICIOUS RUMORS and LEATHERWOLF, progressive metallers SEVEN WITCHES, SINGLE BULLET THEORY, MOBILE DEATHCAMP featuring ex-GWAR member Beefcake The Mighty, and AS SHADOWS COLLAPSE!
