First there was the VHS Tape, then there was the DVD, next came the Blu-ray disc, and Now it’s all about HD Streaming. The world of movie distribution keeps evolving, and if your not already ahead of the game then you will most likely fall to the wayside. By next year the average person will own or have access to an HD Flat Screen TV, this will fuel the need for more HD Content. At our company SGL Entertainment Headed up by myself and my partner Damien Dante, we have seen a surge of growth in HD Platforms such as Amazon Prime, Google Play, X-Box, Sony Playstation, M-GO, Roku, Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV.

We’ve come along way since the VHS Tape, and for those who have ventured outside the standard DVD Home Video Release, and into the world of HD Streaming life is good… Looking down the road I see a lot more in the way of On Demand HD Streaming including 4k Ultra and beyond. So, what is to become of the Theaters, DVD’s and Cable TV??? Well, for now they are still in the game. But, sales statistics are already showing a decline in old school media delivery, and unless they find a way to re-invent themselves, HD On Demand Streaming is soon to be King of the Hill. ~Jeffrey A.
